The CNS Systems VDL 6000 Inland AIS is compliant with the requirements for operation on European waterways and has received type approval from the Fachstelle der Wasser- und Schifffahrtsverwaltung für Verkehrstechniken.
The use of AIS technology on inland waterways helps increase efficiency in transporting goods and improves navigation safety. The CNS Systems Group is able to offer a complete AIS system for inland waterways including both hardware and software for vessel and land based operations. Our land and vessel based solutions have extensive capabilities that enhance operational efficiency on land and on-board the vessels. Our on-board system is deployed on hundreds of workboats and is purpose built for inland vessel operations.
The type approved VDL 6000 Inland AIS is based on CNS Systems successful and highly reliable Class A AIS transponder hardware and software, enhanced to meet inland specific requirements.
